Every Italian I know loves to grow their own tomatoes in their garden and I am no exception. I live in Aliso Viejo, CA so we have a long growing season here. I planted my first one back in April and put the rest in sometime in late May.

Here is a video of what I have so far.

We were brought up in a family that not only loves to cook and eat good food, but we made a living at it. Our parents and cousins came to America from Italy. We grew up working at the Italian restaurants they opened and once we grew up we opened many of our own. We spent holidays with our cousins and family at each other’s restaurants. Sometimes we would get together at one of our homes and the table seemed to be a mile long. The food was always endless. We learned to embrace and love the Italian traditions.

We decided to share our favorite dishes to make because our friends enjoy eating them and they always wanted to know how to make them.

We love to cook. We hope you will enjoy our recipes and try them yourself.
